Background
The Estonian Transport Administration manages thousands of kilometers of national roads and infrastructure. The management and documentation of road construction currently rely entirely on a paper-based system. This creates an administrative burden, with officials spending hours searching for physical documents. The digital transformation of the “TEET” platform was initiated to solve this inefficiency. By replacing physical paperwork with a streamlined digital tool, the new system would save valuable time for the officials, allowing them to focus on more meaningful work.
Objective
The goal was to design a functional interface that simplifies complex data management and minimizes error in infrastructure planning. We modernized the service through extensive UX research and user testing to address the specific workflows and pain points of specialists. The result transforms a data-heavy environment into a streamlined digital workspace that supports rapid decision-making and provides a clear overview of national developments.
